Client acquitted of grievous bodily harm with intent

Following a 7 day trial at Croydon Crown Court Jonathan Mellody’s client was acquitted of grievous bodily harm with intent.

The charges faced by the defendant were that although he was not suspected of actually stabbing the complainant or causing the injury he had participated as a secondary party in a joint enterprise.


The jury returned a unanimous not guilty verdict.

The barrister in the case was Derek Barry.
