Emma was called to the bar in 2016 after working in a criminal defence solicitors firm for 2 years. Committed and passionate about criminal law, she regularly attends the youth, magistrates’ and Crown Court, defending clients in a wide range of offences, with a special interest in gang-related cases. Emma assists with litigation and has been responsible for a large caseload consisting of serious and complex cases including serious drugs, sexual assaults and manslaughter. She regularly assists clients with confiscation orders after conviction.
Emma frequently attends the police station and offers expert legal advice and representation to individuals held in police custody.
