Kirsti Green

Trainee solicitor

Kirsti joined MK Law’s magistrates’ court unit in September 2018. Her strong academic background includes a degree in Modern Languages from the University of Oxford and a Master’s degree in Human Rights Law as well as a Graduate Diploma in Law. She achieved a distinction in both.

Kirsti’s love of criminal defence stems from her belief in social justice and the rights of the individual. Her commitment to every case is evident in her thorough preparation and dedicated work ethic. Working closely with marginalised groups, including asylum seekers, the homeless and prisoners, Kirsti prioritises achieving the best possible outcome for her clients and is known for her meticulous case preparation. She earns the trust of clients by spending time with them and patiently offering them advice and background information with jargon-free clarity.

Kirsti has represented clients in the Crown Court for serious violence, robbery, drugs, false imprisonment and fraud. Her magistrates’ court work has included assault, criminal damage, dishonesty and public order offences. Kirsti also represents those being prosecuted for the full range of driving offences.
