Sophie joined MK Law in 2020 after having completed her LPC/LLM in September 2020 at the University of Law and her LLB at Brunel University in 2014. Prior to joining the firm Sophie worked as a Legal Assistant at a renowned city law firm assisting several fee-earners in the Family Department, particularly in the area of Child Care Law. She has assisted in a number of high-profile cases representing both parents and children in the High Court in matters involving evidence pertaining to non-accidental and forensic injuries.
She also volunteered at an Advice Centre after she graduated, where she was responsible for advising a number of clients on a one to one basis, with matters relating to debt, housing and welfare benefits. She has gained invaluable experience and works diligently with a keen focus on attention to detail. Sophie believes in working with compassion, empathy and commitment towards clients to ensure that they feel supported in what can be a very stressful situation.
Sophie is keen to take the next step in her legal career and hopes to be able to grow with MK Law.
In her spare time she enjoys travelling and reading
