Tamara Hartmann – biography

Having studied Law at the University of Innsbruck, Tamara began her legal career in commercial litigation in London, where she gained valuable experience working on complex disputes. This early experience provided her with a strong foundation in case preparation, legal analysis and strategic advice.

Tamara has since moved into criminal law, where she is committed to providing clear, practical and client-focused advice to individuals facing the criminal justice system. She represents clients in the Magistrates’ Court and supports individuals throughout the different stages of criminal proceedings. She takes the time to understand each client’s circumstances and concerns, ensuring they feel heard, informed and properly supported throughout what can often be an unfamiliar and stressful process.

Tamara is also a probationary police station representative, enabling her to provide effective representation from the earliest stages of a criminal investigation. She recognises the importance of obtaining appropriate legal advice and support at an early stage and works to ensure that clients understand their position and the options available to them.

Tamara also draws on her previous experience in civil and commercial litigation to support the firm’s Actions Against the Police team. Her background in complex disputes provides valuable insight into case preparation, evidence analysis and the strategic conduct of litigation, complementing her developing expertise in criminal law and allowing her to take a broad and considered approach to cases involving police conduct.
