R v MO
Litigator:Jonathan Mellody
Advocate: James Hasslacher
The defendant was accused of aggravated burglary and unlawful wounding. It was alleged that the defendant and a group of others had gone to an address to steal therein and during the commission of this offence a crowbar was used to seriously injure the complainant. The case against the defendant fell to cellular data and the presence of his car at the scene. The defence sought to show that the car had been stolen and that the Crown had incorrectly attributed the telephone number to him. Following a lengthy near month long trial at Woolwich Crown Court the defence manage to secure an acquittal for the defendant for all counts against him.
