The client was charged with possessing a firearm when prohibited, contrary to section 21(2) of the Firearms Act 1968; possessing a ammunition when prohibited, contrary to section 21(2) of the Firearms Act 1968.
The client was acquitted of possession of a loaded firearm and possession of ammunition. The defendant denied that he had knowledge of the gun and bullets and that they had been planted in his bedroom. The jury returned unanimous verdicts of not guilty.
